The Caribbean

PDF Print E-mail

The Caribbean islands divide the Atlantic from the Gulf of Mexico. Each island has its own natural character and individual beauty. The indiginous populations, peoples from the different African tribes and nations brought as slaves and the various colonial powers that ruled the islands have all led to large differences in style, culture and feel from one island to the next. The peak season for the Caribbean runs from December through to June. Although the hurricane season officially starts in June and finishes in November, the real concentration of hurricane activity is normally between mid-August and and mid-October. We would suggest giving the islands a miss at this time. The months of July and August offer great bargains and although the weather tends to be more humid during this period you are pretty guaranteed a lot of fine weather as well.

Where possible we have tried to track down houses with some original cachet in line with our Company phylosophy. Where this is not possible we have selected villas that have real charm and style. We can offer a selection of villas and accommodation in small boutique hotels on various islands in the Caribbean including St.Lucia, Dominica, Marie-Galante, Guadeloupe, Nevis, St. Barth and in the British Virgin Islands. Either view the individual pages or contact us for more information.
