The ten to fifteen minute walk from Kioni waterfront to the Hilltop House will test the weak-hearted, but reward the escapist. Views from the large, private verandah over Kioni Bay, toward the islands of Atokos, Arkoudi, Meganisi and Lefkas and the Greek mainland, are outstanding.

Grapevines cover half the verandah to offer shade from the midday sun. A side terrace, bordered by fig and pine trees, provides views along the hillside of the remains of old stone houses.

Hilltop House has spacious rooms with exposed cedar beams and is furnished to a high standard of comfort.

One double bedroom; one twin-bedded room; one bedroom with bunk beds; large open-plan sitting room, kitchen and dining area with three sets of french windows opening onto the sea-facing verandah; bathroom with shower. Polished pine floors.

Maid service

A hired boat can be moored in Kioni harbour.
