The home of a charming sea-faring couple of Italians Alexandro’s House is situated 500 metres from the little town of Xerocampos with beautiful views over the bay and only 100 metres from the sea. This pretty little village, a short walk away, has a couple of tavernas and is a great place to get away from everything on one of the less frequented islands. The house recently built to their own design follows the traditional Greek multi-level sugar cube design with stone covered terraces and external stairs. The interiors are simply but stylishly decorated with natural wood and dark blue fittings on white floors and walls. High quality fixtures combined with local stone and marble give the finishing touch. The overall effect is cool, comfortable and meticulous. 

The large terraces are shaded by wooden pergola and furnished with seats, tables, lounge chairs and settees for comfortable outdoor living.

It is surrounded with 3,000 metres of its own grounds with garden, barbecue area and olive groves, Indian fig trees, oleanders and splendid bougainvillea.

The house is divided into two apartments with dividing door.

The large apartment: on two levels covering a total of 140m2, the apartment can sleep 4 guests in two bedrooms. It is laid out as follows: Spacious terrace with pergola; sitting room with two built-in settees which can be used as beds if required; dining area with wooden table with seating for 6, large fully equiped kitchen overlooking the bay; one double bedroom with cast iron bed and one twin bedroom with two beds; beautiful bathroom with large shower area and stylish fitting including glass sink. Television with satellite connection.  

The small apartment: approx. 50 m2  on three levels: small terrace at the entrance of the apartment living area with large divan (can also be used as bed), fully equipped fitted modern attractive kitchen with traditional marble sink.  A few steps lead down to a light pretty immaculate bathroom  with separate shower area and high quality fixtures and fittings. Stairs lead up from the main living area to a wooden platform sleeping area. The sleeping area gives access to a large totally private terrace and solarium with a spectacular uninhibited view over the bay and fully equipped for sunbathing and outdoor living. The apartment sleeps two in the bedroom and one in the living area.

The apartment is probably best suited to a couple alone or with children in which case a second bed can be provided to accommodate a second child. Sleeps 2+1 with television, video and stereo.

Below the house is a mooring with large 4.20M inflatable dinghy with a 25 HP Yamaha outboard engine. This can be chartered at very reasonable rates. Excursions can be made to isolated coves or even to other neighbouring islands such as Kalimnos, Arcangelo or Lipsi.  The Spinaway a 12 meter yacht is also anchored below the house and can usually be chartered for a day’s outing (min.2 max. 6 persons) day  available for excursions to adjacent islands.
