Villa Hurmuses (sleeps up to 10) is conveniently located on the Northwestern part of the island with a view of Mykonos town to the North and a sunset view to the west.

The villa itself is approximately 250 square meters in size and built on 2000 sq.m of land, on the side of a hill facing the ocean. It is a convenient 15 minute walk to town and less than a 10 minute walk to the closest beach, Megali Ammos. The airport is approximately 2 km away.

Since the villa is built on the side of a hill, there are different levels to the villa. You enter the villa through a fully electric wooden gate that lets you in to the villa’s driveway. On this level are the laundry room, open kitchen, indoor dining, kitchen terrace, living room, conservatory with its balcony and two bedrooms (1 twin with WC/bath en-suite and 1 double) and an additional WC/shower. There is also a Gazebo situated on this level in the garden opposite the kitchen terrace. The Gazebo can be used for wedding ceremonies, as a massage bale or just a quiet place to relax.

The master bedroom is on the upper level of the house with its own balcony with a stunning view of the ocean, Mykonos town and the sunset. It has its own en-suite bathroom with bathtub and shower.

The Lower level of the house is the barbeque area with its hanging garden lounge and bar. On the same level, decorated by colourful bougainvillaea, there is a covered and glassed-in dining area next to a built-in barbecue. 2 additional bedrooms are also located on this level (1 twin & 1 double).  These two rooms are fully self-sufficient with WC/shower and have their own fridge and stove, plates, cutlery etc.

On a slightly lower level separate from the rest of the house there is an extensive paved terrace, around a large (6m x 12m) fresh water swimming pool, and a small traditional Mykonian house used by the live-in caretakers.

The landscaped garden has plenty of trees and flowers and is decorated with antique pottery. One walkway leads to a walled courtyard and another to a small fruit garden.

Two staff--a husband and wife Filipino team who live on the property in a separate house are the caretakers and housekeepers. Their duties include the daily cleaning, cooking, maintaining of the pool and grounds, grocery shopping, the making and evening turndown of the beds, making reservations or even organizing small parties.

Guests will be met at the airport upon arrival by either the villa manager or one of our housekeepers. They are then driven back to the villa where they will be welcomed with a nice refreshing welcome drink and a cold towel. The manager will then introduce them to the villa. A bottle of wine and a basket of fruits will be provided complimentary from the owners.

The manager will check in on the guests from time to time via phone to see if they are settling in comfortably or require any assistance.  Providing the best personal service and making you feel at home is our number one priority.

The staff will be informed of all your special requests. We will do our best to meet any request. Any other requests after check-in, please contact the housekeepers.

Besides renting the villa to families or groups on holidays, Villa Hurmuses is also being marketed for wedding ceremonies, parties etc. Owners can also organize gourmet tours with celebrity chefs in May and September (out of high season period).  

Facilities

Errand runs by the staff, for groceries, shopping, posting of mail, changing money, buying of newspaper, restaurant reservation etc.
Maintenance of the grounds and pool.

Welcome non-alcoholic drinks with cold towels to greet guests on arrival.
Free use of internet services. Free use of printer and simple copying of documents.
