Casale Il Boschetto is situated in the Maremma region of Tuscany amongst the typical landscape of low rolling hills covered with oak and olive trees. The nearest village, Pereta, a unique well-preserved medieval village, is approximately 2 km away. The location is particularly quiet and peaceful, on a hill, surrounded by a park, valleys and forests. From the bedrooms on the first floor there are views over the valley in the direction of the coast and from the main bedroom, the island of Giglio and Giannutri, together with Monte Argentario, can be seen.

The "Casale" dates from the 17th century and has been refurbished throughout in keeping with its original style, with terracotta tiled floors and wood beamed ceilings. Most modern comforts have been added including TV, VHR and stereo system, but there is no telephone, so guests have to take their own mobile phone.

Access to property is via a security entrance phone and the house is surrounded by fenced in grounds with lawns and fruit trees. A large swimming pool (14x7 m.) with a view of the Monte Argentario coastline has recently been constructed. There is an exterior laundry room with washing machine.

ACCOMMODATION
The house is about 220-230 sqm2 and accommodation is for maximum 8 people. Furniture is typical of the Maremma, wooden furniture of "Arte Povera". Every room has 2 single beds except the main bedroom which has a double bed.

GROUND FLOOR
Entrance hall. Guest shower room and WC. Larder with large fridge/freezer. Spacious kitchen with electric oven/hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, a fireplace and large dining table. Doors open from here to the garden overlooking the pool. Very large open-plan sitting room with a marble fireplace and doors to garden.

FIRST FLOOR (It can also be accessed from exterior)
Main double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (bath with shower attachment). 3 twin bedrooms. One bathroom with bath plus shower attachment and one bathroom with shower.
