The Lupinari estate lies in the heart of 750 acres of woods wineyards and centuries old olive trees in the heart of Chianti between the towns of Arezzo and Siena. It is perfectly positioned in the heart of Tuscany for visiting the historic cities, offers a degree of independance given that most accommodation is in apartments made from traditional farm buildings but also has the convenience of an excellent restaurant. At the beginning of the 19th Century the noble family that owned the estate decided they needed a more imposing home and built a replica castle on the top of the hill leaving the exquisite old 16th Century family houses and the surrounding workers homes unused. These have now been developed to create eleven independant apartments and 4 rooms in the main house. The rooms and the apartments are fully serviced, have large bedrooms en suite facilities, spacious living rooms, large gardens and terraces. All the apartments have been carefully restored with elegance and taste and are furnished with antique pieces. A high level of comfort is assured by each apartment being supplied with its own telephone, television, kitchen and oven, individual heating system, towels and sheets.
