DESCRIPTION:

Considered by many to be the finest destination on the Kenyan Coast, Alfajiri Cliff  Villa is the most luxurious three spectacular villas overlooking the Indian Ocean; its elevated position ensures privacy and stunning views. Its decor includes large glass windows, ivory coulored Danish floors, wooden beams, Lamu doors and impressive African and Far Eastern artefacts. Most of the furniture is made on the property and some is exported. The gardens are meticulously maintained and include many palm trees from the villa’s nursery. One large veranda with huge hand-carved sofas and cushions dominates the front of the house. An "infinity" swimming pool sits on the edge of a small cliff merging into the sea and the horizon.


ACCOMMODATION:

8 guests can be accommodated in 4 bedrooms. A dining room, kitchen, lounge and a large veranda overlooking the Indian Ocean.  All rooms are air-conditioned with mosquito nets. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms. (2 double rooms + 1 twin room + 1 triple )

PRIVACY:

Guests at Alfajiri Cliff Villa  have exclusive use of the property. No other guest belonging to another group will be booked at the same time.

SERVICE:

CUISINE:

Fresh seafood is brought in daily to order from the beach and includes some of the best crab, prawns, lobster, octopus and sea fish available. The food at Alfajiri Cliff Villa is very healthy with a Mediterranean influence with oils, Parma ham and some cheeses are flown in weekly from Europe. The salads and fresh vegetables are supplied daily from local farms and the fruit is hand-picked from trees and bushes around Diani. Fabrizio Molinaro (owners) will easily adapt the menu to suit the guests.

An 18 hole golf course seats ideally located less than two minutes away from Alfajiri Cliff Villa. This 18-hole championship golf course, home to the Diani Beach Masters, is recognized as one of the most exciting golf courses in East Africa.

WHAT IS INCLUDED
Full board accommodation, imported wines, beers, imported spirits, soft drinks, airstrip transfers, and laundry. Snorkeling, massages and reflexology, vehicle available in the Diani area, while tennis, squash and a health club can be found at a nearby property.

WHAT IS EXCLUDED
Health insurance, gratuities, champagne & specific spirits and wines, deep-sea fishing, diving and diving courses, safari and excursions, guide accommodation.

CLIMATE

Alfajiri Cliff Villa has an excellent climate with little humidity from September to March. There is a continuous off- or on-shore breeze. During the months of July and April the weather may be windy and you may experience some rain.

The East African coast is a malarial area and prophylactics are recommended. A doctor is on 24-hour call and a small well-equipped private hospital is less than a kilometre away. As with all destinations in Africa clear medical advice is required from your doctor & comprehensive medical insurance is strongly advised.

Cliff Villa is equipped with reliable telephones, a facsimile machine and e-mail.

CHILDREN-FRIENDLY:

The house has been designed with children in mind. Two ayahs (nannies), who both speak English, are available 24 hours a day. Plenty of games are available as well as a TV and video if needed. Cliff Villa is the perfect place for families with small children that are looking for a relaxing time and to have their children well looked after, all in absolute privacy.
